360WiSE NETWORK™ · POLICIES · PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY

POLICIES AREN'T
FINE PRINT.
THEY DEFINE
THE BOUNDARY.

360WiSE Network™ operates as a public-facing education and participation environment. These policies explain how information, inquiries, public-facing records and participation pathways are handled — and where the responsibility of 360WiSE ends.

THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE

CLARITY BEFORE
ASSUMPTION.

The Network is designed to help people, municipalities, institutions and local business communities understand a changing public-information environment. Participation begins with education and conversation. A public page, inquiry, educational resource or discussion does not by itself establish an endorsement, certification, procurement commitment, contractual relationship or municipal partnership.

SIX OPERATING AREAS

THE PUBLIC RECORD
NEEDS STRUCTURE.

01 · PUBLIC INFORMATION

INFORMATION
STANDARD

Public-facing information published or maintained directly by 360WiSE should be presented as clearly and accurately as reasonably possible, with appropriate distinction between factual statements, organizational positions, observations and forward-looking plans.

02 · PARTICIPATION

PARTICIPATION
STANDARD

Access to educational material, an inquiry form, a conversation, event participation or other Network activity does not automatically create a commercial, governmental or institutional relationship. Defined engagements are established separately.

03 · DOCUMENTATION

DOCUMENTATION
STANDARD

Where 360WiSE creates or maintains public-facing assets, records, publishing environments or documented activity, the organization may preserve supporting records necessary to identify what was created, published, maintained, corrected or distributed.

04 · CORRECTIONS

CORRECTION
STANDARD

Material inaccuracies within public-facing information under 360WiSE control may be reviewed and corrected when identified. Corrections are intended to improve the maintained public record, not rewrite the independent records of third parties.

05 · THIRD PARTIES

INDEPENDENT
SYSTEMS

Search engines, AI systems, publishers, social platforms, distribution platforms and other independent services establish their own systems, policies and outputs. Their independent behavior remains outside 360WiSE control.

06 · RESPONSIBILITY

DEFINED
BOUNDARY

360WiSE stands behind defined work, infrastructure, public-facing assets, publishing environments, documentation and activity under its control. Outcomes governed by independent systems or audience behavior are not represented as controlled outcomes.

DOCUMENTATION STANDARD

EVIDENCE
BEFORE CLAIMS.

The 360WiSE approach favors observable public evidence over unsupported conclusions. Where appropriate, records may identify what existed, what changed, when activity occurred and which public-facing asset or environment was involved.

01 · IDENTIFY WHAT IS BEING DOCUMENTED?

Define the relevant entity, asset, record, publication, distribution environment or public-information relationship.

02 · DATE WHEN WAS IT OBSERVED?

Where timing matters, preserve the date or period associated with the observation, publication, update or documented activity.

03 · DISTINGUISH OBSERVATION IS NOT CONTROL.

Evidence that an independent system displayed, retrieved or interpreted information does not mean 360WiSE controls that system.

04 · PRESERVE KEEP THE RECORD CLEAR.

Documentation may be maintained to support continuity, accountability, correction history and future comparison.

CORRECTIONS & CONTINUITY

PUBLIC INFORMATION
CAN CHANGE.

Organizations evolve. Leadership changes. Programs change. Information becomes outdated. A responsible public-information environment requires a pathway for reviewing and maintaining information under organizational control.

01

IDENTIFY

Locate the information or record that may require review.

02

REVIEW

Compare the existing information with the appropriate source or maintained record.

03

CORRECT

Update material under 360WiSE control when a correction is warranted.

04

MAINTAIN

Preserve appropriate continuity between the prior and current public record.

THIRD-PARTY SYSTEMS

INDEPENDENT
MEANS
INDEPENDENT.

Search engines, AI systems, answer engines, social platforms, publishers, app stores, device platforms and other third-party environments operate independently of 360WiSE.

360WiSE does not represent that it controls their indexing, ranking, retrieval, interpretation, citation, generated responses, editorial decisions, platform availability or future system behavior.

Similarly, public distribution does not guarantee audience attention, engagement, conversion, commercial performance or any particular institutional outcome.

The responsibility of 360WiSE is tied to the defined work and environments under its control.

RESPONSIBILITY BOUNDARY

WHAT WE CONTROL.
WHAT WE DON'T.

UNDER 360WiSE CONTROL

DEFINED
RESPONSIBILITY.

  • Defined infrastructure and implementation deliverables
  • Public-facing assets created or maintained by 360WiSE
  • Owned publishing and distribution environments
  • Documentation and records maintained by 360WiSE
  • Corrections to information under 360WiSE control
  • Defined services established through written agreement
OUTSIDE 360WiSE CONTROL

INDEPENDENT
OUTCOMES.

  • Search-engine indexing or ranking decisions
  • AI-system retrieval, interpretation or generated answers
  • Third-party publisher policies or editorial decisions
  • Independent platform availability or policy changes
  • Audience behavior, engagement or conversion
  • Commercial, political or institutional outcomes not expressly defined by agreement

INQUIRIES & PARTICIPATION

A CONVERSATION IS A STARTING POINT.

Contact with 360WiSE Network™, attendance at an educational session, access to Network information or submission of an inquiry does not by itself establish a partnership, endorsement, certification, procurement commitment or implementation agreement.

DEFINED ENGAGEMENTS

THE AGREEMENT DEFINES THE WORK.

Any defined engagement, scope, responsibility, deliverable, financial arrangement or commercial relationship is established separately through the appropriate written agreement between the relevant parties.

POLICY ADMINISTRATION

MAINTAINED
AS WE EVOLVE.

These operating policies may be updated as the 360WiSE Network™, its public-facing environments, participation pathways and organizational practices evolve.

Material changes may be reflected on this page so the current public-facing policy position can be reviewed from a maintained source.

Questions regarding Network policies, public-facing information or corrections may be directed to [email protected].

360WiSE NETWORK™ · PUBLIC INFORMATION · RESPONSIBILITY

THE DISTINCTION
MATTERS.

Clear public information requires more than publication. It requires defined responsibility, maintained records, correction pathways and an explicit boundary between the infrastructure an organization controls and the independent systems it does not.
